Animales en peligro de extinción en Costa Rica como fuente de creación de problemas de probabilidad
Abstract
Costa Rica conserves approximately 13,000 square kilometers in national parks and reserves, with an invaluable wealth and variety in flora and fauna. However, this has not prevented the increase in endangered species. This workshop seeks that teachers achieve, on the one hand, to make their students aware of this problem, while, on the other hand, they invent problems for the teaching of the probability contents established in the Mathematics Study Programs in force in Costa Rica. Likewise, teachers are expected to use this model to seek issues of national concern, which reinforce the transversal axes with other subjects (science, social studies), aimed at forming conscious citizens with a patriotic responsibility to conserve nature.
