Origen y carácter de la crisis actual

Abstract

Costa Rica produce en términos capitalistas, dentro de una particularidad que podríamos llamar dependiente, subdesarrollada, me gusta más la idea de capitalismo atrasado, subordinado. Aclaro una cosa, a los economistas nos han acusado de que nos gusta mucho hablar enredado, yo voy a tratar de ser sencillo, no voy a perder mucho tiempo precisando categorías, después podríamos, si a algunos de ustedes les interesa, tratar de empezar a precisar categorías. Eso significa que, entonces para nosotros entender la crisis, es importante tratar de darse una aproximación teórica, que nos permita entender cómo se gestan y se desatan las crisis. Y es muy claro que la dificultad principal que se presenta en estos procesos tiene que ver con la valorización del valor. Una sociedad como la nuestra, esencialmente lo que produce es valor, una sociedad como la nuestra esencialmente requiere que el valor, que esa sociedad genera, periódicamente, tenga la posibilidad de reinvertirse, de acumularse, de ampliarse en su proceso de acumulación y hay momentos en los cuales por distintas circunstancias, esa posibilidad de mantener el ciclo fluido y permanente de la acumulación del valor que genera la sociedad, se interrumpe y es ahí, entonces donde, me parece a mí que, hay que ir a marcar los hechos que hacen que ese proceso de acumulación, que ese proceso de generación y acumulación del valor entre, en una ruptura.

That means that, then for us to understand the crisis, it is important to try to give ourselves a theoretical approach, which allows us to understand how crises are generated and unleashed. And it is very clear that the main difficulty in these processes has to do with the valorization of value. A society like ours, essentially what it produces is value, a society like Our society essentially requires that the value generated periodically by that society has the possibility to be reinvested, to accumulate, to expand in its process of accumulation and there are moments in which, due to different circumstances, this possibility of keeping the cycle fluid and permanent of the accumulation of value generated by society, is interrupted, and that is where, it seems to me, we must go to mark the facts that make that process of accumulation, that process of generation and accumulation of value enter, in a rupture.
