El día en plena noche: Mil luminarias (lo teatral en la novela: mecanismos de duplicación interior en el Quijote)

Abstract

El interés que dirige nuestra investigación está concentrado en una obra, El ingenioso Hidalgo Don Quijote de la Mancha, de Miguel de Cervantes, dentro de ella, en la relación entre lo teatral y lo novelesco. El presente trabajo tiene por objeto de estudio el análisis de lo teatral en la novela, a través del examen de los mecanismos de duplicación interior. Se pretende alcanzar con esta investigación una comprensión totalizante del Quijote. Importa ante todo aún más que encontrar aspectos teatrales en la novela cervantina, establecer como lo teatral se funde con lo novelesco para generar una particular semiosis, es decir, no interesa lo meramente teatral en el Quijote sino lo teatral narrativo.

The interest that directs our research is concentrated on a work, El ingenioso Hidalgo Don Quijote de la Mancha, by Miguel de Cervantes, and within it, on the relationship between the theatrical and the novel. The aim of this work is to analyse the theatrical in the novel by examining the mechanisms of interior duplication. The aim of this research is to achieve a comprehensive understanding of Don Quixote. Above all, it is more important than finding theatrical aspects in Cervantes' novel to establish how the theatrical merges with the novelesque to generate a particular semiosis, that is to say, it is not the merely theatrical in Don Quixote that is of interest, but the narrative theatrical.
