Poblaciones de Mesofauna en suelos con cafetos: bajo diferentes sistemas de manejo

Abstract

Estudia poblaciones de mesofauna en suelos con cafetos bajo dos practicas en el manejo del café, por un lado el intensivo a pleno sol con aplicaciones altas de agroquímicos y por otro lado el manejo tradicional usando árboles para sombra y con pocos agroquímicos. El estudio se realizó en una finca experimental propiedad de CICAFE en Barva de Heredia, a pleno sol y otra finca privada de 3.900 m2 bajo sombra. Se estudiaron los mesoartropodos en 8 grupos a lo largo del año y la evolución de la relacion entre fluctuaciones y tres parámetros abióticos : ph , contenido de humedad y de materia orgánica del suelo; todo en dos parcelas diferentes y colindantes.

It studies populations of mesofauna in soils with coffee trees under two practices in the management of coffee, on the one hand the intensive one in full sun with high applications of agrochemicals and on the other hand the traditional management using trees for shade and with few agrochemicals. The study was carried out in an experimental farm owned by CICAFE in Barva de Heredia, in full sun and another private farm of 3,900 m2 under shade. Mesoarthropods were studied in 8 groups throughout the year and the evolution of the relationship between fluctuations and three abiotic parameters: pH, moisture content and soil organic matter; all in two different and adjoining plots.
