Influencia de los factores laborales, socioeconómicos y psicológicos; en los niveles de estrés, de los trabajadores del servicio de lavandería del Hospital Escalante Pradilla de Pérez Zeledón, durante el año dos mil seis.

Abstract

Esta investigación tiene como finalidad analizar la influencia de los factores laborales, socioeconómicos y psicológicos, en los niveles de estrés que puedan presentar los empleados del departamento de lavandería del Hospital Escalante Pradilla (altos, moderados o nulos). Este trabajo se desarrolló con el ciento por ciento de la población, mediante tres instrumentos que se aplicaron, con la finalidad de poder determinar el nivel de estrés que presentan los empleados en cada una de las áreas sometidas al análisis. Además, esta investigación es de carácter descriptivo porque describe los hechos o motivos laborales. sociales, familiares y otros que influyen o interfieren en el estrés que presentan los trabajadores, en el análisis de la información se aprecia en cada una de las diferentes variables la influencia del estrés (alto, moderado o nulo). Entre las conclusiones se pueden mencionar la incidencia de estrés en algunos empleados y las causas que lo generan entre otras; al respecto se sugieren las respectivas recomendaciones para cada una de las partes involucradas (empleados, jefe, departamento de recursos humanos). Esta investigación está estructurada en seis capítulos, el primer capítulo contiene los antecedentes del problema, justificación, el planteamiento del problema, objetivo general y específicos. El capítulo dos, marco teórico, la fundamentación de la investigación a través de los diferentes temas y subtemas por desarrollar, como definición del estrés, consecuencias psicológicas directas del estrés, lo roles del grupo de trabajo, comunicación, depresión, frustración entre otras. El capítulo tres es el procedimiento metodológico, donde se encuentra el tipo de investigación, los sujetos y fuentes de investigación, las estrategias metodológicas y otras. El capítulo cuatro presenta el análisis e interpretación de la información recolectada. En el capítulo cinco se presentan las recomendaciones y conclusiones y en el capítulo seis la bibliografía y anexos.

The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of labor, socioeconomic and psychological factors on the levels of stress that employees of the laundry department of the Escalante Pradilla Hospital may present (high, moderate or none). This work was developed with one hundred percent of the population, by means of three instruments that were applied, with the purpose of determining the level of stress presented by the employees in each of the areas subjected to the analysis. In addition, this research is descriptive in nature because it describes the labor, social, family and other facts or motives that influence or interfere in the stress presented by the workers, in the analysis of the information, the influence of stress (high, moderate or null) can be appreciated in each of the different variables. Among the conclusions we can mention the incidence of stress in some employees and the causes that generate it among others; in this regard the respective recommendations are suggested for each of the parties involved (employees, boss, human resources department). This research is structured in six chapters, the first chapter contains the background of the problem, justification, the problem statement, general and specific objectives. Chapter two, the theoretical framework, the basis of the research through the different topics and subtopics to be developed, such as definition of stress, direct psychological consequences of stress, the roles of the work group, communication, depression, frustration, among others. Chapter three is the methodological procedure, where the type of research, subjects and sources of research, methodological strategies and others are found. Chapter four presents the analysis and interpretation of the information collected. Chapter five presents the recommendations and conclusions and chapter six presents the bibliography and annexes.
