Relación entre las actitudes y creencias hacia las matemáticas y el talento matemático de las personas docentes de matemáticas que ejercen para el MEP y, además, poseen o no experiencia en OLCOMA.

Abstract

Esta investigación se caracterizó por analizar las actitudes y creencias hacia las matemáticas y el talento matemático de docentes de matemáticas, que tienen experiencia o no en olimpiadas costarricenses de matemáticas (OLCOMA); además, de ejercer para el Ministerio de Educación Pública (MEP) en el área de secundaria de la región central de Heredia. El estudio se enfocó en identificar características afectivas de docentes de matemáticas que han participado en OLCOMA y también para aquellos que no, con el fin de contrastar y analizar estas para elaborar un perfil afectivo tanto para docentes que participan como los que no participan en OLCOMA. El estudio realizado posee un enfoque de investigación mixto y se divide en dos fases. Para la primera fase se realiza el enfoque cuantitativo no experimental, deductivo (se utiliza un cuestionario de escala tipo Likert) y para la segunda fase se realiza el enfoque cualitativo, mediante el estudio de casos y enfoque fenomenológico (se implementa una entrevista a profundidad).
