Abstract

El propósito de la investigación fue determinar las estrategias didácticas para el aprendizaje del Inglés en la modalidad de educación a distancia que influyen en la producción oral del estudiantado del 8-A en el centro educativo Santa Inés, circuito 02 en Heredia. Para cumplir con el objetivo se incluyeron antecedentes de fuentes tanto nacionales como internacionales. Estas investigaciones se destacan en enseñanza y producción oral del idioma inglés, estrategias didácticas y educación secundaria tanto de manera presencial como a distancia. Para el abordaje teórico del problema de investigación: ¿Cómo influyen las estrategias didácticas utilizadas por el docente de inglés en la producción oral del estudiantado del 8-A del Centro Educativo Santa Inés?, se presentan fundamentos teóricos los cuales evidencian la constante investigación sobre la producción oral en inglés, sin embargo, no se obtiene suficiente sustento teórico sobre la educación a distancia. Por otro lado, la investigación se realizó bajo el paradigma naturalista y enfoque cualitativo. En ella, se contempló un proceso de recolección de datos. Asimismo, se determinó la percepción de los estudiantes con respecto a la importancia del manejo del idioma inglés y se analizó el desempeño de las coordinaciones del centro educativo en cuanto a la labor docente, mediación pedagógica y manejo de la modalidad de educación a distancia. Seguidamente, se analizaron los resultados obtenidos, y con base en ello, se creó una propuesta para el centro educativo en la cual se recomiendan, como parte de las conclusiones, estrategias de trabajo para promover la expresión oral de los estudiantes en educación a distancia.
