Sistema administrativo de mensajería SMS compatible con redes GPRS/GSM para la Escuela de Informática de la Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica

Abstract

SAM es el nombre abreviado del "Sistema administrativo de mensajería SMS compatible con redes GPRS/GSM para la Escuela de Informática de la Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica Es un sistema que utiliza una Interfaz Web parametrizable para el envío de mensajes de texto a listas de destinatarios, éstas listas pueden ser públicas, privadas para el centro de trabajo o personales y pueden ser administradas de manera global o independiente. El sistema utiliza el núcleo libre para administración de mensajería llamadoSMS3Tools, un adaptador USB y un chip celular para acceder a la red celular y realizar el envío y recepción de mensajes SMS por medio de las redes celulares disponibles, el envío de mensajes se probó con los chips de los proveedores de servicios celulares kölbi, Tuyo móvil, Claro y Movistar en Costa Rica durante el primer üimestre del 2013. Es un sistema único ya que está orientado al sector educativo universitario permitiendo entre otras funciones gestionar periodos, cursos y ligar miembros a los cursos, crear listas de desfinatarios según las necesidades administrativas, académicas y estudiantiles generadas durante el año lectivo de la Escuela de Informática. Se desarrolló una base central de personas con el objetivo de utilizar la información de datos personales, teléfonos, correos y grado académicos para los diferentes módulos del sistema evitando repetir información. Existe un módulo programado con capacidad de conectarse al sistema institucional banner y obtener los números de teléfonos de los miembros de los cursos utilizando el NRC del curso como identificador del curso, por motivos de seguridad institucional éste módulo estará desactivado debido a que la información de los cursos del sistema BANNER no brinda datos sensibles. El sistema brinda una nueva vía de comunicación por medio de un proceso programado creado para filtrar los mensajes de la carpeta de y generar respuestas automáticas a códigos interpretables recibidos en el chip celular si es necesario y utiliza una interfaz para la administración de éstos códigos y mensajes recibidos que no son códigos de respuesta de igual forma. Además permite la generación de reportes estadísticos de las carpetas del sistema y reportes de los miembros de listas.

The system provides a new way of communication through a programmed process created to filter messages from the folder and generate automatic responses to interpretable codes received in the cellular chip if necessary and uses an interface for the management of these codes and messages. received that are not response codes in the same way.
