Estrategia para incorporar el Programa "Adopte una Quebrada" en el Liceo Regional de Flores de Heredia

Abstract

El presente trabajo se llevó a cabo en el Liceo Regional de Flores, situado en la provincia de Heredia y tuvo como objetivo identificar el interés de docentes y estudiantes para incorporar en la institución el programa "Adopte una Quebrada". Se elaboró una encuesta que permitió detectar comportamiento, actitudes, barreras y valores de los participantes. El grado de participación en proyectos ambientales es bajo (38.10% para docentes y 33.87% para estudiantes), la siembra de árboles y la recolección de basura son las actividades en las cuales han participado más los docentes y estudiantes respectivamente. Un alto porcentaje de estudiantes (88.52%) muestra interés de participar en grupos ecológicos que se preocupan por el ambiente, mientras que un 66.67% de los docentes estaría dispuesto a hacerlo. El 85.71% de los docentes y el 83.87% de los estudiantes tienen una actitud positiva para que se adopte una quebrada en la institución. Con respecto a la posible participación de ellos en el proyecto el 71.42% de los docentes y el 80.33% de los estudiantes están en rango positivo. La mayor limitación que les impediría participar en el proyecto es el tiempo, sin embargo el 91.94% de los estudiantes y el 71.43% de los docentes muestra interés en trabajar en el proyecto aunque requiera recibir capacitación. Por último, se elaboró un plan estratégico con el propósito de que el Liceo Regional de Flores en un futuro cercano adopte el Río Quebrada Seca junto a las otras fuerzas vivas de la comunidad.

The present work was carried out at the Regional Lyceum of Flores, located in the province of Heredia and its objective was to identify the interest of teachers and students to incorporate the "Adopt a Quebrada" program into the institution. A survey was developed that allowed the detection of behavior, attitudes, barriers and values ​​of the participants. The degree of participation in environmental projects is low (38.10% for teachers and 33.87% for students), tree planting and garbage collection are the activities in which teachers and students have participated the most respectively. A high percentage of students (88.52%) show interest in participating in ecological groups that care about the environment, while 66.67% of teachers would be willing to do so. 85.71% of the teachers and 83.87% of the students have a positive attitude so that a bankruptcy is adopted in the institution. Regarding their possible participation in the project, 71.42% of the teachers and 80.33% of the students are in the positive range. The biggest limitation that would prevent them from participating in the project is time, however 91.94% of the students and 71.43% of the teachers show interest in working on the project even if it requires training. Lastly, a strategic plan was drawn up with the purpose that the Liceo Regional de Flores adopt the Quebrada Seca River in the near future together with the other vital forces of the community.
