Aportes, desde el magisterio del papa Francisco, para una revisión de la antropología presente en los programas de educación religiosa vigentes.

Abstract

Pretende generar una aproximación a los principales aportes que el magisterio del papa Francisco puede brindar a una Educación Religiosa intercultural, especialmente lo que se refiere a la visión antropológica presente en la exhortación apostólica Evangelii Gaudium y en las encíclicas Laudato Si y Fratelli Tutti. Para realizar esta investigación se recurrió al análisis documental, mediante la consulta de obras de diversos autores que abordan temáticas atinentes al objeto de estudio, como la Educación Religiosa, el concepto de persona, pedagogía intercultural y diversidad religiosa. Se realizó un estudio de la evolución y situación actual de la Educación Religiosa en Costa Rica, se partió desde las primeras discusiones sobre el origen de la escuela en el mundo occidental; luego, pasó por la época colonial, el periodo posindependencia y llegó a la actualidad. Se revisaron los principales modelos de Educación Religiosa que existen, así como las principales críticas que se hacen al modelo imperante en el actual plan de estudios de la asignatura. En una segunda etapa se intentó comprender la evolución del concepto de persona, para lo cual se realizó un abordaje de los momentos históricos que marcaron el origen de la visión antropológica que ha dominado el pensamiento de la Iglesia Católica hasta la actualidad. Asimismo, se analizó la Constitución Pastoral Gaudium et Spes y los documentos conclusivos de Medellín y Puebla, Por último, se efectuó un análisis del área 2 del plan de estudios de I ciclo de Educación Religiosa, para conocer el abordaje actual de las temáticas que allí se contemplan. Además, se revisaron las encíclicas y la exhortación apostólica de Francisco, con el propósito de vislumbrar la visión de persona que el pontífice expresa a través de estos documentos.

It aims to generate an approach to the main contributions that the magisterium of Pope Francis can offer to an intercultural Religious Education, especially what refers to the anthropological vision present in the apostolic exhortation Evangelii Gaudium and in the encyclicals Laudato Si and Fratelli Tutti. In order to carry out this research we resorted to documentary analysis, by consulting the works of various authors who deal with topics related to the object of study, such as Religious Education, the concept of the person, intercultural pedagogy and religious diversity. A study of the evolution and current situation of Religious Education in Costa Rica was carried out, starting from the first discussions on the origin of the school in the western world; then, it went through the colonial period, the post-independence period and reached the present time. The main existing models of Religious Education were reviewed, as well as the main criticisms of the prevailing model in the current curriculum of the subject. In a second stage, an attempt was made to understand the evolution of the concept of person, for which an approach was made to the historical moments that marked the origin of the anthropological vision that has dominated the thought of the Catholic Church up to the present time. Finally, an analysis was made of area 2 of the syllabus of the first cycle of Religious Education, in order to know the current approach to the themes that are contemplated therein. In addition, the encyclicals and the apostolic exhortation of Francis were reviewed, with the purpose of glimpsing the vision of the person that the pontiff expresses through these documents.
