Abstract

Como parte del posgrado en relaciones internacionales y diplomacia con énfasis en negocios internacionales, la economista y administradora de empresas MBA Luz María Chacón León impartió el curso denominado Tópicos de Economía Internacional, durante el cual de forma crítica y constructiva se analizó la investigación titulada “Inversión Extranjera Directa y crecimiento económico: el caso de Costa Rica de 1960 a la actualidad”. Como resultado de dicho debate académico, más la delimitación de un campo de estudio específico, comenzó a gestarse lo que hoy día es este proyecto. El presente proyecto se encuentra enmarcado dentro del ámbito internacional y posee gran relevancia a nivel nacional, ya que versa sobre una problemática que se ha agudizado durante los últimos años, pero que ha sido escasamente tratada, a pesar de poseer una relevancia indiscutible para distintos sectores, instituciones y empresas, tanto del ámbito público como privado.
