Repercusión de las boletas en la disciplina escolar y su aporte al mejoramiento de la misma, en el Liceo Sinaí del circuito 01 de Pérez Zeledón

Abstract

Esta investigación tuvo como finalidad analizar la repercusión de las boletas en la disciplina escolar. El objetivo general del estudio es investigar la repercusión de las boletas en el mejoramiento de la disciplina de los estudiantes, en el Liceo Sinaí del circuito 01 de Pérez Zeledón. La investigación presente es descriptiva y bajo el paradigma cualitativo. La literatura consultada hace referencia a modelos de valores, disciplina escolar, estudio cualitativo e investigación descriptiva, estudio de caso, entrevista en profundidad, historia sobre reglamentos de normas y conductas a lo largo del desarrollo educativo del país y descripción de artículos contemplados en estos reglamentos. Esta investigación se constituyó en un estudio de caso, utilizándose la entrevista en profundidad como técnica parala recolección de datos, tomando como población a 20 alumnos con expediente disciplinario del Liceo Sinaí, 46 docentes y docentes administrativos; padres de familia de los alumnos en estudio. De ellos se seleccionó una muestra conformada por tres alumnos con suspensiones del curso lectivo, sus padres, los tres profesores guías, el director de la Institución y la orientadora. Los principales resultados obtenidos muestran que los estudiantes tienen bajo rendimiento académico, que provienen en su mayoría de familias desintegradas y sobre todo que las boletas no surtieron el efecto esperado en la conducta de estos jóvenes, sino, más bien se convirtieron en una razón más para desertar del sistema educativo. Como producto de esto se recomienda realizar un diagnóstico socio-afectivo al iniciar el curso lectivo, al cual se le dé el debido seguimiento, además de charlas sobre desarrollo integral del ser humano. La limitación más relevante es que los estudiantes habían desertado.

The purpose of this research was to analyze the impact of the report cards on school discipline. The general objective of the study is to investigate the impact of the report cards on the improvement of student discipline at Liceo Sinai of circuit 01 of Perez Zeledon. The present research is descriptive and under the qualitative paradigm. The literature consulted refers to models of values, school discipline, qualitative study and descriptive research, case study, in-depth interview, history on regulations of norms and behaviors throughout the educational development of the country and description of articles contemplated in these regulations. This research was constituted as a case study, using the in-depth interview as a technique for data collection, taking as population 20 students with disciplinary records of Liceo Sinai, 46 teachers and administrative teachers; parents of the students under study. A sample was selected from them, consisting of three students with suspensions from the school year, their parents, the three guiding teachers, the director of the institution and the guidance counselor. The main results obtained show that the students have low academic performance, that most of them come from disintegrated families and above all that the report cards did not have the expected effect on the behavior of these young people, but rather became one more reason to drop out of the educational system. As a result, it is recommended that a socio-affective diagnosis be made at the beginning of the school year, which should be followed up, in addition to talks on the integral development of the human being. The most relevant limitation is that the students had dropped out.
